Data, Energy and Communication Cable Conductors
The majority of our copper wire supply is to cable manufacturers worldwide. Our diverse customer base consists of OEMs, automotive, building wire, communication, data, telephone, power and specialist producers.

Overhead Line Conductor
Draka Wire supplies hard stranded conductors for overhead line and catenary applications from 4mm2 - 1000mm2 and our customers include electricity and railway companies. Drum lengths range from a minimum of 100 metres up to 100,000 metres on steel or wooden drums. Fully lagged packaging is also available with the shortest of lead times.

Can Welding Wire
The range of wire supplied to the Can Welding sector is traditionally 1mm up to 2mm plain copper wire, available in a multitude of packaging types. These include octobins from 1 tonne up to 2.2 tonnes, fibreboard packs from 200kg to 500kg, DIN reels, coils, conis, steel stators and reel-less packaging. Our ability to deliver on the shortest lead times enables our customers to continually keep working capital to a minimum.

Miscellaneous
Wherever there is a requirement for copper wire, Draka Wire is a supplier. Lower volume applications include plain and tinned copper conductors, fuse wire, electric fences, jewellery, stained glass window fittings, copper scourers, crane wire and many other uses.
