Obligatory requirements

• Electric Cable- To denote the purpose of the product
• 600-1000V- Voltage designation
• Number of the British standard (BS7846) on the outer surface by printing, embossing or indenting
• Mark of Origin by way of embossing or indenting
• 4 x 240 Number and size of conductors
• 2008- Indication of year of manufacture by means of embossing, indenting or an identification thread

• BASEC- Signifies 3rd party approval accrediatation and surveillance to a BASEC PRODUCT scheme. This can be substantiated by requesting certification from the manufacturer.
• LPCB 361g/01 Signifies 3rd party approval accrediatation and surveillance to an LPCB PRODUCT scheme. This can be substantiated by requesting certification from the manufacturer.
