To be complaint a manufacturer must declare the performance of their cable in terms of reaction to fire *.
The process to be CPR compliant is
- Define level of performance in terms of reaction to fire by Euroclass (Levels not regulated in the UK)
- Obtain 3rd party testing by a notified body (eg. BASEC) to confirm.
- Draw up a declaration of performance (DOP)
- Place the new CE label on cable packing
